JIC fittings at HFI fluid power products. The pressure fit 37 degree flare is still the most popular design for connecting tubes and hoses to fittings. The advantage of the 37 degree JIC fitting is in the leak-proof metal to metal seal that is made across the smooth flare surface. No sealant is required to secure the connection.
WE manufacure our JIC fittings from domestic barstock. The original shaped fittings yield nice flat surfaces for wrenches and tooling application. The various terminating ends are brazed on providing a quality domestic fitting product. We can design virtually any configuration.
JIC tees and crosses are no problem. Also, we are one of the few companies that produces 45 degree elbow JIC fittings in house.
With the application of a conical washer and oring, the JIC elbow fitting can be positioned, or rotated, in any direction desired. This makes connections a breeze!
